OUR BIBLE BELIEFS/ DECLARATION OF FAITH                                                                                                                     

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, containing no errors, and comprising our sole authority for faith and practice.

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but is separated from Him because of sin. All men are sinners by nature and by choice, and are totally without power to commend themselves to God.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ and that He is the son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of men, that they may be reconciled to God. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is coming again in power and glory to establish His kingdom.

We believe that men and women are reconciled to God only through trust in the death of Jesus Christ on our behalf. Such individuals receive forgiveness of sins, everlasting life, and are made children and heirs of God.

We believe that the Church is God’s primary agency for the accomplishment of His purposes in this age. It exists for the building up of believers and for the purposes of reaching the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ.
